                                                    Engineering Technology Degree programs Engineering Careers

GENERAL TOUR SET-UP

The students will break into 4 groups. Each group will begin at an assigned Lab. session. Every 40 minutes the groups will rotate for other Lab. Sessions, so that each group has an opportunity to explore and experience all the major Engineering areas.

                                                

Group #:                              Demonstration and Exploration sessions

 

     1) Civil Engineering Technology:               Room C211: This session will explore the use of                    Computer Aided Drafting (CAD)); Prof. Abueteen

     2) Electrical Engineering Technology:       Rooms C202: Explore elements of PLCs and Electrical Systems; Prof. Harstine & Prof. Capatosta

     3) Electronic Engineering Technology:     Rooms C205: Explore Digital Electronics hands-on soldering project; Prof. Vern Sproat

    4) Mechanical Engineering Technology:   Room B119: Explore Mechanical Engineering Labs; Prof. Guthridge & Prof. Loew

     Noon – 12:30 PM                                           Lunch; Cafeteria
